Connie Helmich is a paralegal with the law firm of Chisenhall, Nestrud & Julian, P.A. Ms. Helmich received her national paralegal certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 2000.

Ms. Helmich works in all aspects of litigation for the firm. She has experience in complex case document management and computerized litigation. Ms. Helmich also prepares research and information for discovery, performs investigative tasks, and organizes and reviews medical records/documents. She is experienced in electronic preparation/presentation of exhibits and trial materials.

She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. (NALA) and has served on NALA’s Professional Development Committee and Environmental Committee. Ms. Helmich has served as an executive board member and as President for the Arkansas Paralegal Alliance (APA), formerly known as the Arkansas Association of Legal Assistants. Ms. Helmich is a speaker on national and state levels regarding paralegal issues and was appointed to serve as APA Liaison with the Arkansas Bar Association (2000–present). In 2003 Ms. Helmich participated in a panel discussion at the Arkansas Bar Association Annual Meeting entitled “The Utilization and Economic Impact of the Arkansas Paralegal” with Justice Annabelle Clinton Imber, US District Court Judge Jim Moody, Jim Julian – attorney with Chisenhall Nestrud & Julian and Cathy Smith, paralegal with Rose Law Firm.

In 1999, Ms. Helmich was selected as the “Arkansas Legal Assistant of the Year” by her peers and recognized by the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc as one of twelve outstanding paralegals in the nation for outstanding service to the profession.

Tacy Jensen is a paralegal with the firm of Chisenhall, Nestrud & Julian, P.A. She has more than seven years experience as a paralegal in litigation in employment and labor law; medical malpractice; nursing home litigation; family law and general civil litigation. She has worked for five years as a legal assistant in her areas of concentration as well as general business matters.

Ms. Jensen’s responsibilities include drafting pleadings; summarizing depositions; analyzing and preparing documents for production; managing document intensive employment litigation cases and nursing home litigation defense cases; performing legal research; organizing and analyzing medical records and other documents in medical malpractice; interviewing witnesses and prospective witnesses; and preparing trial documents, exhibits and assisting in trial.
