Lawrence Chisenhall oversees the firm’s regulatory and public utility practice areas where he has extensive knowledge and experience related to all aspects of regulatory and legal issues involving electric, natural gas, telecommunications (both wireline and wireless), and water and sewer service.

Lawrence Chisenhall’s other areas of emphasis are corporate, commercial and general business law. This area of practice ranges from mergers, acquisitions and dissolutions to real estate transactions, leasing, and asset based financing.

He has worked with the Arkansas State Legislature, where he is currently a registered lobbyist, and he has served as chief counsel for the Arkansas Public Service Commission.

In private practice since 1978, he works closely with the environmental section of the firm dealing with the impact of environmental rules, regulations and restrictions pertaining to the purchase and sale of real estate where hazardous materials may be involved and the construction of, and financing of coal and natural gas fired electric generation facilities.
